Lance Wyman is an icon

He is a graphic designer specializing in systems for cities, events, institutions and transit systems. His creation of the 1968 Mexico Olympics identity built him an international reputation as a graphic designer and the resulting design program, a multidimensional integration of logos, typography and color, is considered a pinnacle of environmental and branding design.

Over the past 5 decades he has helped to define the field of environmental graphics. He teaches corporate and way finding design at Parsons where he has been a visiting lecturer since 1973.
